In addition we offer body composition assessments, nutritional advice and sports performance testing.
At Denman Athletics, our training is centered around functional strength and conditioning, designed to help you build real-world strength and endurance.
The first step is to enroll in our 6-week trial. This trial gives you the opportunity to strength train three times a week in our SGPT pods, along with two weekly conditioning sessions. You’ll also have access to our VALD performance testing equipment and InBody assessments, plus regular check-ins with one of our expert coaches to keep you on track with your goals.
Once you complete the trial, you can choose from our membership options directly on our website or through the MindBody app. Alternatively, you can visit us at the gym or give us a call at (604-423-5532), and we’ll help you select the membership that best suits your goals.

If a SGPT session or a conditioning session you would like to take is full, we highly recommend putting yourself on the waitlist – it works!
When you see the session is full, click on it, and it will ask you if you want to add your name to the waitlist. If the waitlist is full it will tell you that too. If a spot opens up, you will automatically be added to the session and you will receive an email confirmation.
IMPORTANT: it is assumed that by being on the waitlist, you will be able to attend the session if you get in. If you no longer wish to attend the session please remember to remove yourself from the waitlist. If you fail to remove yourself and are added to the class within our 12-hour cancellation, it will be a late-cancel and you will forfeit the session.
You can find the schedule for SGPT and Conditioning sessions on our website or through the app Mindbody.
If you are looking to make progress, we recommend training consistently 3 times per week. Your goals, lifestyle, injuries, etc. of course will effect this but if you are looking to actually make progress toward your goals – consistency is key.
All personal belongings must be left outside the studio. Only water bottles and towels are allowed to be taken into the studio so that the space is kept safe and clear for all our members.
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the start time of the session.
The session starts at the time the session is scheduled and it is important to be there to hear the full breakdown of the workout.
Arriving 10 minutes before the class will give you some time to situate yourself and get some mobility in prior to the start time.
If you are not here for the start time of the session, a guest on standby will be offered your spot.
No guests (scheduled or waitlisted) will be able to enter the studio after 2 minutes past the start time of the session.
It is recommended that you come dressed ready for a workout, a water bottle and a small towel. Small face towels are provided.
There is street parking outside the gym. It is paid parking between 9am and 10pm. There are also some free parking spots available on Barclay and Denman street depending on the time of day.
